The original “The Drag Series” archive, where it all began.

This gallery is the archive of the original "The Drag Series," a project that began in Recife, Brazil, in May 2016. The concept was to create a "catalogue of drag" through numbered portraits against a simple white background, offering a platform to celebrate the identities and artistry of the local queer community.

This series became a significant cultural catalogue, featured in popular media outlets like Vogue Magazine, Glamour Magazine, Out Magazine and The Independent. It was a foundational part of my journey as a photographer. Many people discovered my photography through these images, and I am deeply proud of the platform it created for queer visibility.

While my photographic style and technical approach have since evolved, the spirit of this series continues to influence my work. This gallery serves as an archive of that era. While I no longer add to the collection in this specific format, I invite you to explore my current work in the portfolios linked below.

Over 350 queens from 45+ cities and 4 countries were photographed for this project.
